The dispatcher reassures her that help is on the way and guides her through essential steps to assist the baby until paramedics arrive.

As the dispatcher gathers information, the mother is urged to unlock the door for the approaching paramedics. The dispatcher continues to provide instructions, asking about the baby’s breathing and advising the mother to tilt his head back to maintain an open airway. The mother acknowledges that the baby is wheezing but assures that he is breathing. The dispatcher stays on the line, offering support and guidance until the paramedics arrive.

Upon their arrival, emergency services administer Narcan to revive the baby. The parents, a 26-year-old mother, Geia Durel Hunter, and a 27-year-old father, Beond Ley Jolor, are subsequently arrested at the hospital. Charges include child neglect, fentanyl possession, and evidence tampering.
